Product Marketing Manager


Serena Software is on the hunt for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to be responsible for the successful roll out of an
agile development tool kit. Successful candidates will have a passion for marketing software, have at least one
successful on-demand or SAAS launch under their belt, and will be experienced with agile development methodologies. We
are a fast-paced, innovative team that acts like a start up but is well funded and stable, and this is a very
high-profile role.


RESPONSIBILITIES




* Market and customer needs analysis, product definition, pricing, positioning, promotional tactics, coordination of
product launch strategy and activities, sales support, including both creation of collateral and preparation and
delivery of training materials, and product maintenance from release through end of life

* Individual must be able to recognize market and customer opportunities, and deliver a complete business case to
support investing in those corresponding opportunities.

* Successful candidate will be adept at maintaining strong and fruitful relationships across all internal divisions,
including development, sales, marketing communication, finance, legal, international, and external constituents,
including customers, partners, industry analysts and editors.


REQUIREMENTS

* Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or XP

* Minimum six years product marketing experience

* The ideal candidate will be skilled in whole product marketing, public speaking, and experienced in the enterprise
applications market

* A proven track record successfully bringing products to market and driving significant revenue growth

* Experience with new product introductions, and demonstrated success in meeting marketing goals of multiple products
in the enterprise software space.

* Strong communication skills
