Development Manager

Our client is an award winning start-up located in the heart of downtown Seattle. We're looking for a hands-on
technical Development Manager with a strong technical lead background, good people skills and web development experience
with HTML, CSS and AJAX. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated and talented group of people to
deliver a portfolio of business-enabling mobile widget applications for the newest generations of iPhone, BlackBerry and

Responsibilities

* Recruit, manage, motivate and inspire team of 3-5 software engineers

* Direct, guide, and mentor the efforts of the widget development team

* Create and implement process for developing a large number of widgets with an eye towards quality

* Direct the prioritization process for widget development

* Communicate the status of the widgets as they traverse the development process

* Provide technical expertise and feasibility to the rest of the organization including business development/sales
efforts

* Work with project managers and design team to complete widgets according to specification and schedule

* This is a role for someone who still wants to stay hands on in terms of coding; people with Team Lead experience will
be considered


Experience

* 3-5 years HTML, CSS, Ajax experience in web environment

* Technical degree; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems preferred

* Experience as a Technical Lead or Engineering Manager of at least a small team of developers
