Join a large insurance company to assist them with Peoplesoft security and administration. Our client's focus is on
providing the insurance products that matter most to consumers – auto, homeowners and small-business policies. The
mission is to make the experience of buying, selling and owning insurance easier than anyone else through delivering
products over a Web-based sales-and-service platform.
Our client is seeking a PeopleSoft Consultant with experience on PeopleSoft 8.8 Financials (Procurement, general
ledger, accounting, AP, etc.). This team supports the financial team. They’re going through a business process
outsourcing and their team receives change-requests for views and permissions to PeopleSoft. This individual needs to
follow the prescribed SOX Controls and determine when it’s okay to grant access to a user, or to diplomatically inform
them they can’t receive access to that application due to prescribed security outlines, and know when to escalate a
request to the Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Set-up new users in defined security roles in accordance with company guidelines and service levels
* Change security levels based on roles (Role-based permissions)
* Perform monthly and quarterly SOX controls
* Modify existing security roles- adding and removing permissions
* Perform portal synch activities for bundles and upgrades
* Create new business roles
* Execute PeopleSoft upgrades and patches
* Assist with code migration for portal sync as needed
Requirements:
* Must have excellent communication skills as this resource will be interfacing with a variety of business users
* Must be customer-service oriented
