Abilities:

* Interface with all levels and departments within an organization

* Explain technologies to non-technical and management personnel

* Respond to customer requests in a tactful manner

* Effectively prioritize competing tasks

* Thrive in fast-paced environment

* Proven troubleshooting skills

* Document trouble calls and solutions for technical and non-technical audience

* Hardware and software troubleshooting skills

* Willing to travel (for installations, walk-throughs or on-site troubleshooting)

* Be on-call 24x7 for extended periods of time

* Customer service perspective, with the ability to analyze, classify, escalate and document complex technical issues.

* Ability to lift and/or move 30 lbs

* Other tasks as assigned



Requirements:

* BA/BS or equivalent work experience

* A valid driver's license and a registered vehicle

* 1+ years experience in networking and technologies

* Willingness to be on-call 24x7

* Experience with some/all of the following technologies:

* Linux (RedHat, Fedora Core)

* Windows

* HP-UX & Solaris



* Java, JSP, C, C++, Bash

* Oracle, PostgreSQL

* TCP/IP networking, network security routing and firewalls

* Physical security hardware (cameras, access panels, etc)
