Marketplace Video team is in search of a passionate business professional that is interested in making Xbox 360 THE
entertainment device in the living room. This position is responsible for business planning, rhythm of the business
coordination, project management, and other key projects associated with running video store initiatives. Help drive
strategic initiatives and assist in implementing strategies and tactics across the org. These initiatives may include
driving revenue growth, developing competitive strategies, rationalizing content portfolios, and managing for customer
value. This leadership role for business and strategic planning on the team has a wide range of responsibilities in the
following key activities: Develop business plans and walk them through the review process. Establish and manage business
processes for the organization, including rhythm of the business (ROB) activities and reviews, and budget/forecast
planning (working closely with the finance and revenue generation teams). Manage the agenda and facilitate ROB meetings.
Analyzing service usage and other metrics to develop business intelligence in order to further guide business planning.
Developing effective plans to address the best market opportunities, communicating across the organization and gaining
broad consensus and approval. Project management between development, marketing, bizdev, and more Engagement with ad
team around the right business models for monetization and planning on XBOX Live Video Marketplace. Work on ad-hoc
projects as needed to meet the changing business environment. The successful Group Manager will demonstrate leadership,
highly developed analytical skills coupled with a broad understanding of the entertainment industry, working knowledge
of agreement issues and tradeoff points with respect to negotiating deals, ability to think strategically, strong PM
skills, ability to solve unstructured business problems, solid relationship and communication skills in working with
Microsoft-wide groups, and be able to effectively develop key processes and procedures that facilitate efficient
