service. HSMM in Virginia Beach is searching for an Engineer to: Design civil and environmental projects including site
work, storm water, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, water and wastewater pumping stations,
water treatment facilities, and wastewater treatment facilities. Job Requirements: BS in Civil or Environmental
Engineering or related field Possess PE Extensive knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, and
procedures Detail oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstration of the desire and ability to
succeed through past accomplishments (examples: above average GPA, work successes, professional and civic leadership,
participation in service organizations) Stong analytical skills Proficient with CADD Strong organizational skills
Proficient in the use of computers for making engineering calculations Ability to function as a leader or as a follower,
as conditions dictate, in a team setting Ability to work overtime as needed Ability for overnight travel as project
requires Other Qualifications Desired: 2 years Construction experience 6 years Engineering experience 4 years Design
experience Minimum of eight years experience in providing water and wastewater engineering/consulting services to local
governments. Master degree in civil or environmental engineering preferred. Experience in the Tidewater area of Virginia
