equipment. Forney(`9s product line includes Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), igniters, flame
detectors, Burner Management Systems (BMS), burners and duct burners serving the utility power, industrial,
petrochemical and pulp & paper markets
Successful candidate will perform a variety of project
engineering work in planning, configuring, testing, and analyzing of mechanical equipment and combustion
systems. Assigned to the Mechanical Group with primary responsibilities as Duct Burner Project
Engineer.
- Provides custom mechanical solutions in duct burner and mechanical projects to meet
customer specifications.
- Technical leader for the project team in a fast paced, technically challenging
environment.
- Configures components and systems within Federal, state and local codes and regulations,
contract specifications, good engineering practices, and Forney standards.
- Develops bills of material,
P&ID's and other project documentation to include dimensions, part numbers, wiring and assembly diagrams,
standard products, etc.
- Provides technical advice to other departments such as manufacturing,
purchasing, service, sales, marketing and proposals.
- Supervises development of technical documentation
from designer/drafters to ensure accuracy and completeness in compliance with all relevant codes, standards
and specifications.
BS Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- 4 plus years experience desired
- Ability to effectively interact with managers, supervisor, peers, customers and suppliers.
- Ability
to effectively manage projects of a lengthy, on-going, complex nature.
- Ability to develop, read and
interpret complex technical documents.
- Ability to utilize advanced, analytical engineering software
tools.
