Life and ST Disability Analyst I
Portland, OR

Bring your analytical skills to the following role:
*Review and adjudicate low liability and lower maintenance group life, voluntary life, STD and voluntary STD, AD&D and
voluntary AD&D and waiver life claims as assigned
*Provide prompt and accurate benefit payments
*Offer responsive customer service to claimants, policyholders, plan offices, brokers, beneficiaries and agents

Combine your degree and understanding of claims with the following:
*Bachelor's degree in health or business related field or equivalent job related work experience
*Ability to utilize claim investigative techniques to identify and evaluate claim information in a fair and objective
manner
*Detail oriented with an ability to analyze and research contract information
*Demonstrated ability to make balanced decisions with the highest degree of integrity and fairness
*Capability to express ideas and recommendations clearly and with a high level of professionalism in written and oral
communications
*Computer proficiency
*Ability to operate effectively in an imaged environment
*Ability to work with others in a highly collaborative team environment
*Demonstrated ability to multitask and balance goals and priorities
*Excellent customer service skills
*Strong problem solving skills are essential
*Strong basic math skills are essential
*Adaptability to change
*Operating knowledge of claim payment systems is preferred
*Medical background and/or disability claim experience is preferred
