IT Project Manager5132General SummaryThe IT Project Manager / Systems Engineer is responsible for implementing
and maintaining the local server and storage environment, which is critical in supporting plant operations and
administrative functions. Responsible for leading and/or managing technical projects, while adhering to
Campbell Soup Company IT standards and principles. Collaboration with local LAN administration, engineering,
world headquarters shared services, and the global Campbell IT network is essential to success in this
position. Provides technical direction, recommendations and guidance to management and the local IT team
regarding the local IT infrastructure. Manage and support network domains and associated services. Assist with
management of security and backup systems. Support and maintain hardware, software and network connectivity
for local servers, workstations and printers.Principal Accountabilities1. 35% - network server and storage
infrastructure management and administration, including but not limited to: setting direction, planning,
procurement, installation, configuration, security, disaster recovery and business continuity
responsibilities2. 30% - implementation, support, maintenance and some development of applications supporting
administrative functions and the plant floor environment3. 20% - working with business teams and regional
and/or global IT network on various projects and initiatives4. 10% - provide backup assistance with network
communications infrastructure, telephony, video conferencing, PC hardware and software applications5. 5% -
Handle Administrative tasks, including but not limited to procurement, project budget management and
Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testingJob Complexity** Install and ensure continuity and availability of local
servers and applications. * Install and upgrade system and application software for servers.* Establish
software license compliance, server disaster planning and business recovery services. Identify and implement
software/hardware solutions.* Problem example - User calls, says cannot connect to local network application.
Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problem - server hardware, application software, user's PC or
workstation, security, or network connectivity. Upon determining the cause, take the necessary actions to
resolve the issue, which may include engaging corporate Helpdesk and/or world headquarters shared services.*
Problem example - new software application required to be deployed locally on the plant floor. Determine
hardware requirements, recommend and procure hardware, software licensing, install and configure server,
assist vendor or follow vendor's software installation guidelines, establish the appropriate security for
plant or office network, coordinate implementation with project team, and support users.Education &
ExperienceMinimum Education required: : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related major.Years of
relevant experience: Minimum of 4 years Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Windows server operating systems,
including Windows Server 2003* Knowledge and experience with server and storage virtualization. Experience
with VMware preferred* Experience specifying, procuring, installing, configuring and deploying servers* Active
Directory user administration maintenance including account management and group security permissions*
Computer networking knowledge and skills, be able to handle preliminary network problem solving in the absence
of the LAN Administrator* Knowledge and experience with database management and administration. Experience
with Microsoft SQL Server preferred* Knowledge and experience with web-based applications. Experience with
web-based application development preferred (ASP, .Net)* Experience managing small to medium scale projects,
and knowledge of project management practices* Intermediate level troubleshooting skills* Intermediate
documentation skills* High level of knowledge about server setup/repair/problem analysis* Experience with
servers and knowledge of Campbell's standard PC and server operating systems * Strong attention to detail*
Excellent analytical skills* Good communication and client interface skills.Working ConditionsWork is
primarily in office settings with significant involvement and interaction with the plant floor environment
(manufacturing, warehousing, and supporting operations).As with other IT personnel, part of on-call rotation.
May have to work off-hours if there are critical problems requiring IT intervention. May be weekend work if
projects or assignments necessitate working on devices or systems when office and/orplant is not working.Some,
