HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, M-F

STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Responsible for the support of multiple production SQL Server 2000/2005 database servers, SQL Server database security,
database backup and recovery, Log Shipping and other availability related technologies, Transactional and Snapshot
Replication, Stored Procedure and User-Defined Function development, Database Script generation and execution, SQL
Server Monitoring and Troubleshooting, Performance Analysis and Tuning, Database Application Troubleshooting, Windows
Server 2003.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
A college degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Experience requirements are currently related to
SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005. MCITP/MCDBA certification is preferred. 24/7 on-call responsibility. Excellent
verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work under the
pressure of multiple projects and deadlines. Evaluate effectiveness of current database technology solutions and offer
innovative ideas. Independently make judgment calls related to the production operation of database servers.
