Trainer based in the Northern U.S. This position can be located in or near any major metropolitan area in the region
such as New York, Boston, Philadelphia, or Washington D.C.RESPONSIBILITIES:Educate/train radiation oncologists,
neurosurgeons, medical physicists, dosimetrists and radiation therapists on the use of Oncology Solutions products and
servicesCoordinate and teach the in-house BrainLAB Academy courses designed toward treatment planning applications,
physics administration and principles of cranial and extracranial stereotactic radiation surgeryProvide on-site guidance
and assistance to physicians and physicists during treatment, maximizing Oncology Solutions efficiency and usageInstruct
users in calibration checks, safety surveys, and maintenance of radiation therapy equipmentDevelop and conduct training
programs for hospital staff, enabling them to implement in-house trainingAssist with design and development of training
programs for hospital staff, including: curriculum design, course materials, job aids, assessments and
evaluationsDeliver training to internal employees as part of Basic Education CurriculumEnsure standardized training
delivery methods and work on continuous improvement of trainingAttend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate and
promote Oncology Solutions products and servicesKeep abreast of developments regarding BrainLAB and competitive Oncology
Solutions products and services Field customer questions/requests and investigate and resolve issues consistent with
established policies and proceduresEffectively communicate with customers to understand problems and adequately
troubleshoot issuesREQUIREMENTS:M.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics or Radiation TherapyMajors in
Neuroscience strongly preferredMedical Dosimetry Certificate preferred; strong physics background is desired
Demonstrated ability to deliver professional-level of training to each customerTechnical training/education experience
in a professional or academic environmentClinical radiation oncology experienceExcellent organization and time
management skills, and the ability to manage many work streams simultaneouslyExcellent written and oral communication
skillsStrong sense of professionalism, with the confidence to deal with people of all levels, including senior
managementWorks well in a team environment and individually Works with minimal supervision amidst ever changing
