Position Summary:
The Technician will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair fiber and microwave networks. Supports other systems
such as SCADA, LMS and EMS telephone circuits.
Essential functions are as follows:
§ Troubleshoots and repairs problems related to fiber and associated telephone networks.
§ Troubleshoots and repairs problems related to microwave and associates telephone networks.
§ Maintains the fiber and fiber equipment that supports the Company and other external customers sharing and paying
for the use of the fiber network.
§ Maintains the microwave network which includes many RF communication sites.
§ Provides new construction services for the microwave network and associated technical areas.
§ Provides new construction services for the fiber network and associated technical areas. Supports substation
construction.
§ Coordinates work associated with the tasks listed above, including the coordination of outside and in-house
services.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess an Associates Degree plus a minimum of three (3) years of related experience. FCC
license is preferred.
