The Instrument Technician installs and maintains communication equipment, including identifying and correcting
problems and inspecting equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintains calibration schedule.
* Calibrates equipment (including Remote Terminal Units).
* Schedules meter calibrations (on volume).
* Troubleshoots and repairs electronic and SCADA equipment.
* Installs serial communications devices and connections. REQUIREMENTS:
* An associate's degree in electronics or a closely related field; AND
* Four years of related experience which demonstrates a knowledge of electrical wiring codes, network
systems, routers, communication devices and a familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, Adept,
and Fisher; OR
