Description:
This Manager is responsible for the planning, direction, and safe execution of all maintenance activities. Will focus
on maximizing the rate, reliability and yield of the facility and work closely with all departments to achieve those
goals. This position will assist in developing, implementing, overseeing, and being help accountable for the plant
reliability systems. Will provide direction to the maintenance staff and feedback on their performance. Will support and
promote the safe operations of the plant assets and ensure that all personnel follow safety work practices. Will be
responsible for corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance activities within the plant. Will conduct failure
analysis and assist in developing and maintaining the reliability system. Will schedule, plan, and provide direction to
and final oversight of any outside contractual maintenance. Will also be responsible for the justification, planning,
and execution of plant outages and turnarounds. Will provide input in any planning, scheduling, and budgeting
activities. Will be responsible for staffing and maximizing utilization of maintenance personnel.
Requirements:
BS Mechanical Engineer preferred, will consider BS Chemical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or BS Engineer. Must have
minimum 7 years experience as a Maintenance/Reliability Engineer with 3 years directly supervising or managing a
maintenance staff in a chemical plant. Would like some Project Engineering experience.
