The Indianapolis Teaching Fellows program is calling on outstanding individuals to become teachers in Indianapolis and
positively impact the academic achievement of its students. Indianapolis Teaching Fellows is looking for a diverse group
of successful professionals and recent college graduates who will use their knowledge, experience and records of
achievement to improve the lives of students in Indianapolis. No previous experience or coursework in education is
necessary to apply.
Teaching Fellows will begin teaching full-time in the fall of 2009 while pursuing an Indiana teaching license. Benefits
of the program include a streamlined application and selection process, a six-week intensive summer training institute
and the opportunity to join a group of new teachers committed to improving public education in Indianapolis.
Individuals interested in teaching math, science, special education or Spanish are encouraged to apply. A bachelor’s
degree is required.
