Sr. Programmer Analyst - (Naperville, IL)

This role is responsible for the maintenance of existing systems, development of new systems to meet user need,
especially those that automate business processes and engineering design functions.

Responsibilities
•Develops, codes and debugs Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) programs and related Visual Basic & .NET routines to
automate engineering design & customer service functions.
•Writes programming enhancements to Microsoft Office database and spreadsheet programs to automate business
processes.
•Advises users on software applications which can be used to automate and streamline business processes and
engineering design functions.
•Researches and recommends enhancements to programs through version upgrades, new programming techniques and the
integration of add-on modules.
•Trains and assists associates in the use of personal computer software and programming applications.
•Conducts cost savings analyses to determine the benefits of purchasing or programming software applications.
•Develops and conducts presentations to users on new applications.
•Accountable for programming enhancements and maintenance of web sites for the organization, including company web
site.
•Provides technical guidance, work leadership and direction to work teams and associates.
•Works independently with little direct supervision.

We require:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent education and experience
•Experience developing programs to automate business functions and engineering designs
•ERP experience a plus
•5-7 years of related programming experience
•Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
•Good presentation skills
•Experience with Visual Basic, .NET, SQL Server and ASP / Java
•Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), Excel, Access
