Production Planner/Scheduler Naperville, IL Area


Responsibilities:

Gathering required production data and load balancing the daily schedules for the production department.

Involved with the master scheduling, material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, as well as data
entry into the business system to maintain accurate inventory information.

Plans and establishes production schedules.

Generate daily production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements

Monitor material delivery schedules and adjust production schedules accordingly.

Participate in regularly schedule purchasing and production meetings.

Continually reviews factors which affect schedules.

Monitor materials inventories and coordinate inventory control activities.
Tracks progress of production.

Familiar with standard Production Planning concepts, practices and procedures.

Experience with computerized ERP, MRP, JIT and inventory management systems.

Must have strong skills in MS Office software (Word, Excel, etc.)

Job Requirements

3-5 years of experience in planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum of an Associates Degree in business is preferred.

APICS Certification is desired.
