to Head Start grantees. Staff will work from home and provide T/TA services to grantees throughout the Administration
for Children and Families (ACF) Region. This position does involve approximately 30% travel. This position is based
within our Human Services and Community Development practice. Successful candidate(s) will have the opportunity to work
closely with other early care and education professionals within ICF, as part of our Early Education Services (EES)
group. Made up of more than 90 early education professionals, EES provides a collaborative work environment committed to
supporting and enhancing services for young children and their families.The T/TA Specialist will provide assistance by
assessing the needs of the assigned Head Start grantees, working closely with the State-based TTA Services contractor,
and the ACF Regional office. The Specialist will work directly with grantees to assist in the development of annual T/TA
plans for the Regional Office, support risk assessment meetings, and work with grantees to assist their meeting
monitoring and performance standards. Additionally, the Specialist will provide accountability and progress reports, and
develop goals and quality improvement plans to ensure that high quality services are being provided. BA/BS Degree in
Education, Child Development or related Social Sciences (Masters preferred) with five years of work experience providing
T/TA and consultation to Head Start or other social services programs. The State Specialist must have knowledge and
awareness of children and family needs; experience in working effectively with staff, working on a team and with
committees and workgroups; be able to apply current research literature, relevant laws, regulations and policies. The
successful candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively under critical time frames and be able to
