Current Product Engineering to provide daily supervision of administrative and technical issues involving a functional
group of engineers and engineering support personnel who work on a project or a specific portion of a project for a
program using the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP). In this position, you will: Manage the current product
(S.W.A.T.) group resources and priorities to achieve multiple factory and product goals. Be responsible for assembly
line support pertaining to issues of maintaining manufacturing's linearity goals. Resolve issues identified by Dealer
Technical Information Center (DTAC) within 90 days (tracked by Non-Conformance Corrective Action (NCCA)). Address
warranty issues identified to drive warranty costs below 1%. Initiate Value Improvement (VI) projects to meet annual
factory goals Assign work as needed to meet the above goals and access external sources as needed. Provide technical
assistance to employees to complete projects. Consult on PDP program field failures determine alignment with customer
experience and expectations. Promote use of common tracking systems and presentation methods between Augusta 4000 and
5000 series products and stay aligned with corporate and/or division standards (procedures, best practices, etc.).
Education Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Ag Engineering or 7+ years of equivalent experience. Required
Skills and Experience Proficiency with problem identification and resolution. Ability to quickly assess problems, assign
priority, and manage corrective actions on a large number of simultaneous issues. Proactive approach to problem
resolution. Ability to gain commitment and action from others who do not directly report to this position. Experience
with lab and field testing (test planning, data acquisition, signal conditioning, analysis, technical report writing,
and document retention). Fundamental understanding of FEA concepts, methods, and applications. Understanding of basic
PDP processes to be scaled for VI and Continuous Improvement projects, especially design reviews and Product
Verification & Validation test planning. Desired Skills and Experience Off-road vehicle design experience. Warranty
analysis experience. Manufacturing / Assembly experience. Experience with electrical systems on mobile equipment.
