Exciting opportunity in a 350-bed acute care hospital, CCS approved, serving it's suburban community of greater Los
Angeles for 60 years and offering excellent

The beautifully remodeled 32-bed Pediatric Unit taking care of 4,200 children every year and is staffed by
hospital-based pediatricians. The pediatric unit features 17 individually themed fantasy rooms, new television sets--one
for each patient--and recliners for parents. In addition, there is a 10-bed Level II PIC and EDAP
Emergency 24-hour trauma services.
This position is responsible for two units, Peds and PICU, totaling 32 beds
for clinical and administrative management with 24-hour accountability for personnel
management and fiscal and material resources. Responsible for hiring, disciplinary
action, scheduling, orientation, performance evaluations and educational needs.
Reports directly to the DON.
Requires Bachelor's Degree, clinical exposure to PICU or PEDS and/or prior
management experience. Prefer 1-3 years Peds or PICU management/supervisory
experience but will consider candidates with proven track record of leadership
abilities. Will consider management candidates who have had some exposure
to Peds or PICU in their careers.
