The Department of Neurology, University of California, Davis School of Medicine, is seeking a physician-scientist to
initiate a translational neuroscience research program that interfaces with at least one of the many areas of clinical
strength in the department or in the larger health system, including Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, multiple
sclerosis, pain, traumatic brain injury, pediatric neurology, autism and developmental disabilities. The successful
candidate will be expected to make a major commitment to research and medical student and resident teaching, and may
also contribute to clinical care and clinical training. Candidates must have the capacity to develop an independent
nationally-recognized research program. Junior level candidates will have the opportunity for mentorship from a senior
colleague. UC Davis provides an outstanding collaborative environment to develop a research career, with numerous
resources within the many colleges and centers of the university and the Clinical and Translational Science Center in
the School of Medicine. The position is at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in the In Residence series. Rank
