Currently we are seeking candidates for a Corporate Director of Pharmacy.
Must have a CA license.
JOB OBJECTIVE: Will act as a temporary Director of Pharmacy or Consultant Director of Pharmacy in new accounts;
implement new contracts; perform due diligence sight visits for potential new accounts; perform Pre-JCAHO and JCAHO
visits on current accounts; help staff current accounts; and work on special projects as deemed necessary by Corporate.
Is responsible for all aspects of operations, including preliminary marketing due diligence; assists in recruitment of
personnel; determines that all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements are being met; ensures provision of
optimal services; and works with Regional Directors, Directors of Pharmacy, and other hospital personnel to enhance
financial performance.
REPORTS TO: Executive Vice President, Hospital Operations, Vice President, Hospital Operations, and Regional Vice
Presidents.
SUPERVISES: Support Personnel
WORK SCHEDULE: Minimum of 40 hours per week, but hours may be long and irregular; includes evenings, weekends, and
holidays, as necessary. The job requires travel for varying lengths of time.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree; currently licensed to
practice pharmacy in at least one state; 5-10 years hospital experience required with 3 to 5 years in a management
position required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., use of a computer keyboard). May require lifting and
carrying light loads (e.g.,boxes, equipment, laptop, computer), stooping or kneeling to file documents in lower file
drawers. Walking or standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) often necessary. Must be able to travel to client
hospitals every week. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the

CRITICAL DEMANDS: Ability to work independently and handle stress
appropriately. Ability to work cooperatively with other members of
Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and hospital and pharmacy staff. Ability to handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changes
in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns.
Foster a team environment by providing orientation and training to Directors of Pharmacy and pharmacy staff. Ability to
communicate effectively (verbal and written). Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

License must be in good standing for the past 7 years. Willing to get
licensed in 10-14 different states. Willing to be Pharmacist in Charge as needed and staff as needed. This person will
travel 90% of the time, leaving home on Monday morning to be on site by noon Monday and leave around noon on Friday to
travel home. There is a 5% increase in their pay while traveling. They will have a company credit card to cover
expenses. We are currently looking for candidates in the Northeast and West Coast,
West Coast must have a CA license.
