Education, has an immediate opening for a Production Coordinator to work on a contract basis in our Woodland Hills, CA
office. Responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating production services for multiple projects with internal staff or
outside suppliers. Responsible for meeting project, budget, and time requirements, and for ensuring quality file
building by analyzing and reviewing project files. Acts as a liaison between production sources and design, art/photo,
editorial, and manufacturing departments to establish processes and ensure that project goals are met. Communicates
status and issues via status reports, meetings, and tracking information. Monitors the performance of production sources
and provides feedback and training. Leads weekly project status meetings and recommends solutions to team members.
Develops and reviews bid packages, purchase orders, processes invoices, and assists in the selection of production
sources. Tracks costs to ensure budgetary requirements. Provides detailed project wrap-up including evaluation of
production team members and ensuring archive downloads. Required: Bachelor's degree Solid background in print production
and project management, from page layout through prepress processes Extensive knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, pdf
file format, Excel, and the Macintosh operating system Equivalent knowledge in QuarkXPress will be considered Knowledge
of Photoshop and Illustrator Demonstrated ability to analyze production time-frames and related costs to determine
efficient production flow and vendor assignments Experience with multi-tasking and providing leadership for project
teams Ability to work under deadline pressure Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
